Corporate Day Out Cruises
There is no better way than a Viking cruise to get a break from the office or for a team building exercise. For our corporate clients, we have a range of packages to best suit your needs. This can be a tasteful cruise to Killinure Chalets for a delicious BBQ or you can arrive in style at the Wine Port Lodge and Restaurant. Either way, you will enjoy the beauty of the Inland Waterways and witness everything Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands has to offer.
There is fully stocked bar onboard with craft beers, Irish whiskeys, wine, and soft drinks. We also have a P/A system if you would also like to bring a USB stick with the music of your choice.

Parking
Athlone Castle – N37 V593
If multiple cars are arriving, we recommend parking at O’Connell Street Car Park N37 XW58 @ €3 per day. If you are traveling by coach, we recommend using the coach bays beside SS Peter & Paul Church.
All the other Lough Ree departure/arrival points have parking facilities.
Bus Transfers
If you require a bus transfer, Viking Tours can recommend a local transport provider.
For Glasson Village please note: A bus transfer is required for part of this route because the village is not connected to the waterways. Again, Viking Tours can assist in this regard.

What Our Passengers Say
Supervalu, Athlone outing on the Viking Ship
“Myself and about 20 others from work went on a trip to Hodson Bay and back with Mike and George. We all had a great time aboard the Viking ship and could not recommend it enough. Getting to see the sights of the River Shannon and Lough Ree while relaxing on the boat was brilliant. I would like to thank Mike and George for the great day out and for taking care of us on behalf of all of us in Athlone Supervalu. And again I would recommend Viking Ship cruises for families, work outings or tourists.”

Work nite out plundering on the Shannon
“We organised a work nite out which involved taking the Viking ship down to the Killinure Chalets followed by a BBQ there. We had a fantastic evening, Michael was very friendly and accommodating, we had Nathan Carter playing in the background, and our gentlemen dressed as Vikings and reliving their youth! The ladies sat back and enjoyed the ambience and sipped on Prosecco, the sun was shining, it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip, and we would highly recommend this as an evening out. We will return.”
